Pradhan Mantri kisan samman nidhi Shortly PM KISAN yojana was launched to augment the income of Small and marginal farmers.It comes into effect from 1-12-2018.Later on Pradhan Mantri kisan samman nidhi was opened for all the farmers .So no restriction for the benefits at all.

Benefits and Eligibility :

The land holder family  shall be eligible to get benefits of 6000/year/family.

Beneficiary amount shall be given on Three equal installments for every 4 months.Starting from 01/12/2018

Here Family Means Husband wife and his/her Minor children

Who can not apply ?

• An institutional land holders
• Former and present holders of constitutional posts/ministers/M.P./M.L.A./Mayor/Chair persons  of district panchayat/
• It may also includes All retired and running officers,Employees,Of central and state government,Ministries /Offices/Departments and its field units Central or State PSEs and Attached offices /Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees) .
• All superannuated/retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs.10,000/-or more(Excluding Multi Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees) of above category 2.4.1 (c)) e) All Persons who paid Income Tax in last assessment year. f) Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and carrying out profession by undertaking practices.

Computation scenario for calculation of benefits

1.If  a single farmers family owns 10 hectares of land  Then  He may not be eligible to take benefits under  pm kisan yojana.

2.If this 10 hectare of land owned by 5 family then They all 5 can h eligible for pm kisan yojana

3.If 16 hector land holding owned by 12 families through which 8 families owing 1.5 hectare each and rest 4 families owing 1 hectare .Then they all are eligible for 6000/anum through pm kisan yojana to take the benefits under pm kisan yojana.

4.If the the families owing 1.5 hectare of land and his spouse is in exclusion list then they can not be eligible for pm kisan yojana.
